How can I search PubMed by author?

To search PubMed for articles by a specific author, enter the author’s last name and initials in the search box, separated by a space. Do not use punctuation.

Some, but not all, PubMed records include the author’s full name. If you search using an author’s full name, your results may not include articles where only the author’s initials are provided. For the most comprehensive results, use only the author’s last name and initials.
