Gmail is not required to use DOCLINE. The system uses Google accounts for secure login only. NLM suggests each user set up individual Google accounts based on existing work email addresses.
For instructions on how to set up your Google account (without Gmail), please follow these instructions. To link your Google account to DOCLINE, use the ‘Apply Now’ button at https://docline.gov, and supply your Google account email address and your LIBID.
