You can search for records in the NIHMS system by NIHMSID or PubMed ID. (Records can be located by PubMed ID only if the record in NIHMS is matched to a PubMed record.) The Search box is located on the right-hand side of the My Manuscripts page after logging in to the submission system.
If the record is associated with the account used to log in to the system, the record details will be available. If the record is not associated with the account, you can contact the NIHMS Help Desk to gain access to the record. Access will be granted to authors or individuals (e.g., principal investigators) associated with the supporting awards.
If you are not directly associated with a record but actively help monitor compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy for your department or institution, please consider using the Public Access Compliance Monitor.
